Chancellor’s Annual Report 2021-22

This was another record-breaking year for UNC Charlotte, with historic enrollment and fundraising support and record state investment for STEM growth and capital renovations.

Celebrating the remarkable achievements of its first 75 years, Charlotte embarked on a bold vision in 2021-22, launching “Shaping What’s Next,” a 10-year strategic plan to become a globally recognized, emerging top-tier research institution.

Momentum to transform, discover, influence and lead – in the greater Charlotte region and beyond – is driving the University’s trajectory by: providing students with access to a world-class education with meaningful experiential learning opportunities; conducting research with real-world applications that broaden the world of knowledge and understanding; driving progress in North Carolina and beyond; and embodying a commitment to lead equity and engagement efforts.
