Co-Lab Innovation Hub
In the heart of Uptown Charlotte, big ideas have a new home. UNC Charlotte is collaborating with Charlotte Center City Partners and other local leaders and philanthropic partners to develop the North Tryon Tech Hub, establishing Charlotte as a catalyst for entrepreneurship and innovation.
North Tryon Tech Hub: CO-LAB
One important component of the North Tryon Tech Hub is the CO-LAB at UNC Charlotte Center City, which opened in March 2025. Located across the street from the Dubois Center, the CO-LAB brings together entrepreneurs, innovators, corporate leaders, and the University’s expertise to tackle real-world challenges. From fintech to AI, climate solutions to entrepreneurship, this is a space where big ideas meet real opportunity.
