Search Committee Appointed to Identify Next Director of Athletics
UNC Charlotte will begin the process to identify its next director of athletics in mid-January 2026. Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber will chair the search committee, with other members to include:
- Dontá L. Wilson, Chair, UNC Charlotte Board of Trustees
- David R. Ravin, Member, UNC Charlotte Board of Trustees
- Katie Renaut, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Governance and Regulatory Affairs
The committee will be assisted by TurnkeyZRG. It is anticipated a new director of athletics will be in place by March 2026. The job description will be available on the TurnkeyZRG website by mid-January.
The UNC Charlotte community is encouraged to provide input to the search committee. The form will close at noon on Friday, Jan. 23.
