Amy Klein Aznar is a managing partner at Childress Klein, where she provides executive leadership, drives strategic growth initiatives and oversees investment strategy and risk management to protect investor and client interests. With deep expertise in equity and debt real estate investing, she has successfully invested on behalf of leading global institutional investors, leveraging the firm’s development and acquisition strengths.

A Charlotte native with more than two decades of experience in London, Amy brings a global perspective and complementary skill set in real estate investment management. She plays a central role in shaping firm-wide investment strategies and building strong client and investor relationships.

Before joining Childress Klein, Amy was head of debt & value-add strategies at LaSalle Investment Management. There, she led several major funds and was instrumental in raising approximately €6.1 billion in capital commitments. Her leadership earned her recognition as one of Bisnow’s “51 Most Influential Women in UK Real Estate” (2018) and one of Private Debt Investor’s “Top 10 Women of Influence” (2021).

Her earlier career includes roles at Merrill Lynch, JLL and Morgan Stanley, where she refined her expertise in real estate investing and advisory.

Amy joined UNC Charlotte’s Board of Trustees in 2025, following her service on the university’s Foundation Board. Her strategic insight, global experience and dedication to the Charlotte community make her a key contributor to both the growth of Childress Klein and the advancement of UNC Charlotte.
